As of definition, music is the art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. We have different taste of music that suits our ears. Some of these are ballad, rock, pop, classic, and jazz. People have different ways on how to produce sounds. Others use musical instruments. If music is not organized properly, it will become a disaster and make us irritated.
Music adds meaning and gives color to our life. According to the quote, "Music has been my playmate, my lover, and my crying towel."because it is with us every moment. It can be our playmate because it entertains us and makes us happy. We can spend our past time with him. It can also be our lover because it is with us in times of needs. Some people are inloved with the music because they are listening to it repeatedly. It can also be our crying towel because it comforts us whenever we have problems. Other people are listening to it when they have problems. Their problems are removed temporarily if they listened to it. These are some of the functions of music. But too much music can kill us. We can have ear defects if the music is very loud.
Music is very important in our lives. Without it, our life will be worthless and very silent. As a matter of fact, it can make our life boring. I am very happy because music is always with me. I enjoy what I am doing when I hear music, especially pop musics sung by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber. So, we should be proud and let us treasure the music.
